When Cats player Brad Ottens (Dual Premiership Player, Star Ruckman & All Australian!) and his fiance Sarah decided to buy a caravan the long list of available models by the various manufacturers seemed a little over whelming initially.

Beginning their research over a number of months online the couple eventually whittled it down to a shortlist of models showing the features they wanted within their budget that they wanted to look at.

One model on their list was a clear stand out for them.

"Even before actually viewing the van the X-Country had everything on our list with many of our requirements being standard features on the X-Country, it seemed these same features were at an additional cost with most of the other models.

We also loved the idea of custom designing our van to our exact requirements!" Brad said

Through some mutual contacts, Brad & Sarah ended up dealing directly with Anthony, Serge & the team at the Crusader factory in Melbourne to design their van specifically to their custom requirements - one of those being Brad's height, standing at 6'8" the roof of their van needed to be just a little higher than average to accommodate comfortably! It was during this process that a partnership evolved between Brad and Sarah & the Crusader family.

"We were so impressed with the team at Crusader, right from the initial meeting they really went out of their way to accommodate us. Their entire team were friendly, courteous and close knit, they really are like a family & we felt welcomed into that. There was an opportunity to put our names behind their brand & as we were so impressed already it was a pretty easy decision." The couple said

From now until the end of the year (around footy of course!) Brad & Sarah will be filming a number of videos and writing articles on their experiences with their new Crusader X-Country van.

While they're still waiting for delivery on their new van, Brad & Sarah are planning a week long van trip after the footy season ends; visiting caravan parks & chatting to people about their vans & of course showing off their Crusader van.
